Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement for PINKLATES LLC
Effective Date: October 6, 2026
Last Updated: October 6, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
PINKLATES LLC (“PINKLATES,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible digital experience for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
We believe that everyone should be able to access information about PINKLATES and interact with our website with dignity, independence, and equal opportunity.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of pinklatesstudio.com, including applicable pages, forms, and digital content operated by PINKLATES (collectively, the “Site”), and to identify and address accessibility barriers as our Site and services evolve.
Our accessibility efforts are intended to support users with a range of disabilities, including individuals who may use screen readers, screen magnification, keyboard navigation, voice recognition software, captions, alternative input devices, or other assistive technologies.
2. Accessibility Standards & Our Goal
PINKLATES aims to design, develop, maintain, and improve the Site with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”).
WCAG provides internationally recognized guidance for improving the accessibility of websites and digital content for people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. PINKLATES has selected WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target.
Our reference to WCAG 2.2 Level AA describes our accessibility goal and the standard toward which we are working. Unless expressly stated following appropriate evaluation, it should not be interpreted as a representation that every page, feature, or third-party component of the Site has been independently certified or formally determined to fully conform to every WCAG 2.2 Level AA Success Criterion.
PINKLATES also seeks to provide digital access consistent with applicable disability-access laws, including, where applicable, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) and California disability-access laws, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act.
The U.S. Department of Justice recognizes that inaccessible web content can prevent people with disabilities from accessing the goods and services offered by businesses open to the public. California likewise provides disability-access protections applicable to businesses serving the public.
3. Accessibility Measures
As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, PINKLATES seeks to incorporate accessibility considerations into the design, development, maintenance, and updating of the Site.
Depending on the content and functionality involved, these efforts may include:
-
Providing meaningful text alternatives for informative images and other non-text content where appropriate;
-
Treating decorative images appropriately so they do not unnecessarily interfere with assistive technologies;
-
Maintaining readable text and appropriate color contrast;
-
Avoiding reliance on color alone to communicate essential information;
-
Using logical page structures, headings, labels, and content organization;
-
Providing descriptive labels or accessible names for interactive controls where appropriate;
-
Supporting keyboard access to interactive Site functionality;
-
Maintaining logical keyboard focus order and visible focus indicators where supported;
-
Designing forms with understandable labels, instructions, and error information;
-
Supporting browser zoom, text resizing, and responsive layouts;
-
Designing content to function across commonly used desktop and mobile screen sizes;
-
Using descriptive link text where practical;
-
Providing captions, transcripts, audio descriptions, or other alternatives for multimedia when applicable and required;
-
Avoiding content that unnecessarily flashes or creates known accessibility risks;
-
Considering appropriate target sizes and spacing for interactive elements;
-
Providing understandable page titles and navigation;
-
Maintaining consistency in navigation and identification of recurring Site components where practical;
-
Considering compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies; and
-
Reviewing new or materially changed Site content for accessibility considerations.
Because accessibility is an ongoing process, these measures may evolve as the Site, applicable standards, technology, and PINKLATES services change.
4. Current Website Features
The current PINKLATES Site is primarily a pre-launch website providing information about PINKLATES and allowing visitors to join the Pink List, contact us, access our policies, and follow PINKLATES through linked social platforms.
We seek to make these core functions accessible, including:
-
Reading and navigating Site content;
-
Accessing information about PINKLATES;
-
Accessing the Pink List;
-
Completing and submitting applicable website forms;
-
Accessing our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement;
-
Using links and interactive controls; and
-
Contacting PINKLATES for information or assistance.
As additional functionality is introduced—including booking, membership, payment, account, multimedia, or other interactive features—we intend to consider accessibility as part of their implementation and ongoing maintenance.
5. Compatibility With Browsers & Assistive Technologies
PINKLATES seeks to make the Site usable with current versions of commonly used web browsers, operating systems, mobile devices, and assistive technologies.
Accessibility and functionality may vary depending on the particular combination of browser, operating system, device settings, assistive technology, and third-party software being used.
Visitors are generally encouraged to use reasonably current versions of their browsers and assistive technologies because older or unsupported technologies may not provide the same functionality or accessibility support.
Nothing in this section is intended to restrict access to the Site based on a visitor’s choice of technology.
6. Third-Party Content, Platforms & Services
The Site may contain links to, integrations with, or functionality provided by third-party websites, applications, social media platforms, hosting services, or other technology providers.
Examples may include our website platform, forms, social media links or integrations, and other digital services that may be introduced as PINKLATES grows.
While we seek to select and use third-party services with accessibility in mind where reasonably practicable, PINKLATES does not control all aspects of third-party platforms, websites, source code, content, or accessibility practices.
Accessibility barriers associated with third-party services may therefore occasionally exist outside our direct control.
If you encounter an accessibility problem involving third-party functionality accessed through the PINKLATES Site, we nevertheless encourage you to contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you and, where appropriate, communicate accessibility concerns to the applicable provider or provide an alternative means of accessing the relevant information or functionality.
7. Known Limitations & Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process, particularly as websites, browsers, assistive technologies, and accessibility standards evolve.
Although PINKLATES works toward the accessibility goals described in this Statement, some content or functionality may not yet provide an optimal experience with every assistive technology or combination of technologies.
We do not presently identify any specific known accessibility limitation that prevents access to the Site’s core pre-launch functions. However, this should not be interpreted as a guarantee that no accessibility barrier exists.
If we identify a material accessibility limitation, we will evaluate reasonable steps to address it and may update this Statement to identify relevant limitations or available alternatives.
8. Assessment, Testing & Maintenance
PINKLATES considers accessibility as part of the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Site.
Our accessibility review may include, as appropriate:
-
Accessibility tools and automated checks;
-
Manual review of content and interactive elements;
-
Keyboard-navigation testing;
-
Review of headings, labels, alternative text, and form functionality;
-
Color and contrast evaluation;
-
Mobile and responsive-layout review;
-
Testing of important user journeys; and
-
Evaluation of reported accessibility barriers.
Automated accessibility tools alone cannot identify every accessibility issue. We therefore recognize the importance of manual evaluation and feedback from actual users.
We may periodically reassess the Site as content, technology, applicable standards, or Site functionality changes.
Conformance Status
The accessibility of the PINKLATES Site has not yet been independently certified or formally assessed for full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. PINKLATES uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target and continues to evaluate and improve the accessibility of the Site as it develops.
9. Accessibility Assistance & Alternative Access
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Site, completing the Pink List, using a form, accessing information, or otherwise interacting with PINKLATES online because of a disability or accessibility barrier, please contact us.
We will make reasonable efforts to understand the problem and provide the requested information, communication, or functionality through an accessible alternative where reasonably practicable while we evaluate the underlying accessibility issue.
Depending on the circumstances, an alternative may include providing information by email, supplying content in another reasonably accessible format, assisting with a website interaction, or identifying another effective method of communication.
You will not be charged an additional fee solely because you request accessibility assistance or an accessible alternative.
10. Accessibility Feedback & Reporting a Barrier
We welcome accessibility feedback from visitors and encourage you to notify us if you encounter an accessibility barrier.
When reporting an issue, it is helpful—but not required—to provide:
-
The webpage or URL where you encountered the problem;
-
A brief description of the accessibility barrier;
-
The device and browser you were using, if known;
-
The assistive technology you were using, if applicable and if you wish to disclose it;
-
The information or function you were attempting to access; and
-
Your preferred method for receiving a response.
You are not required to disclose the nature of your disability or provide medical documentation merely to report a website accessibility problem.
11. Response & Remediation
PINKLATES takes accessibility feedback seriously.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related inquiries within a reasonable period and to evaluate reported barriers as promptly as practicable based on the nature and complexity of the issue.
Where a reported issue can be reasonably reproduced and remediated, we will evaluate appropriate corrective measures. More complex issues, including those involving third-party technology, may require additional time to investigate or address.
During that process, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative for information or functionality that a visitor is unable to access.
12. Physical Accessibility
This Accessibility Statement primarily addresses the accessibility of the PINKLATES website and related digital experiences.
PINKLATES is currently in its pre-launch stage. As physical studio locations are developed and opened, accessibility of our physical facilities will be addressed in accordance with applicable accessibility requirements.
Information concerning accessibility features or accommodations at a particular future PINKLATES location may be provided through the applicable location’s information or by contacting PINKLATES.
13. Changes to This Accessibility Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement periodically to reflect changes to:
-
Our Site or digital services;
-
Accessibility features or practices;
-
Identified or remediated accessibility barriers;
-
Technology or third-party services;
-
Applicable accessibility standards; or
-
Legal or regulatory requirements.
When this Statement is updated, we will revise the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of the page.
